Meek Mill Piles Misery On Akademiks After He's Banned From Twitch Amid Grooming Scandal

Meek Mill is keeping his foot on Akademiks‘ neck after the controversial media personality was banned from Twitch following allegations that he attempted to groom an underage boy.

Ak (real name Livingston Allen) has been under fire in recent days after a livestream went viral in which he made inappropriate sexual comments to a 15-year-old boy and asked him if he would have sex with men.

Meek, who has a long-running rivalry with Akademiks, was one of the first high-profile figures to call him out and has continued to do so as the controversy rages on.

Writing on X (formerly Twitter) after it was revealed that the Off the Record host had been banned from Twitch, Meek said: “He gone be drinking tonight screaming at kids from some other portal lol these guys lives be terrible ‘NEVER FOLLOW THE HEATHENS.'”

The Philadelphia rapper added: “Ima use you as a warning sign since you been talk non sense it made you lose your mind!”

For his part, Akademiks admitted that Twitch had taken action against him regarding the controversial livestream, but denied that he had lost sponsorships as a result of the scandal.

He also claimed that his page was still being supported by online casino Stake, who own their own streaming service in Kick.

“Twitch took some action because even though I wasn’t streaming, that happened on their platform. I completely get it,” he said on his Rumble channel on Tuesday (January 28). “We’ll work with Twitch and we’ll make it right.”

He added: “As far as anyone saying that it’s a hailstorm of fallout — that’s not true. Happy Dad is still right here. Stake supports us on Twitter, nothing has changed there.”

It was also reported by Akademiks’ X account that he had been banned from Twitch for phoning Adin Ross while on a broadcast. Ross is already permanently banned from the streaming platform.

Twitch have not yet commented on Akademiks’ ban.

During a Fortnite stream this past weekend, Akademiks was speaking to a 15-year-old gamer who goes by the handle NourGXD and asked him: “Yo, if [PlaqueBoy]Max said he wanted to try fucking a dude, will you let him fuck you?”

When Nour appeared uncomfortable and replied, “No,” Akademiks doubled down and asked: “Why not?”

The Hip Hop pundit also joked about being “inside” of the boy and quizzed him about whether he’d “smash” a fellow streamer’s older sister.

“No, because I’m 15. She’s above 18,” Nour replied before pointing out that that would be “grooming.”

Ak later called his comments “regrettable” and said: “I am wrong. I will be better. This is a teachable moment for me.”

However, his attempt at an apology was not accepted by Nour, who fired back on X: “After everything that happened and after they tryna defame Max and the shit he said and did is insane he realized he’s in the wrong only bc he got caught.

“[I]dgaf, you are a pdf, you ‘apologized’ with a backhand ‘oh 5$TAR So Toxic etc’ shut up I bleed and breathe 5$TAR weird ass mf.”

The teen also called the interaction “truly uncomfortable unnecessary and disgusting.”

Tony Hadley thinks Sam Fender has key Frank Sinatra quality

Tony Hadley has compared Sam Fender to Frank Sinatra and Boy George.

The former Spandau Ballet frontman is a huge fan of the 'Seventeen Going Under' hitmaker, and insisted like many iconic singers, his "voice is instantly recognisable".

Asked which current artists could have Spandau's longevity, he told the Metro newspaper's 60 Seconds column: "I'm always thinking about voices.

"Whether it's Sinatra or Boy George - when you put their records on, you know exactly who it is, It's about character.

"Sam Fender's voice is instantly recognisable. I love his music and the [Bruce] Springsteen influences."

Tony - who discovered Sam while presenting BBC Music Introducing on BBC Three Counties - also had some praised for rising star Piers Nolan.

He added: "I'm championing an artist called Piers Nolan. Instantly recognisable, incredible range and a great songwriter.

"We've got an album. The thing is what do you do with new artists now?

"Forget TikTok and all that rubbish - Piers needs to tour like Sam did."

Tony is returning later this year with a 2025 Big Band Tour, and he has recalled actually getting to meet Sinatra himself during his teenage years.

He said: "I met Sinatra when I was 17 at the Royal Albert Hall and he was really sweet. Years later, when I was doing my first solo album, I thought it would be great to get him in the video.

"I phoned his office and left a message saying, 'Hi, this is Tony Hadley. You probably won't know who I am.'

"'I'm the guy who sang True and I met Frank when I was 17. I'm gonna make a video and I'd love it if he could be in it.'"

The 64-year-old star revealed Sinatra's team phoned back to apologise that the timings wouldn't work because the 'My Way' crooner was heading on tour.

Tony added: "I could have swung from a chandelier - Frank Sinatra's office phoned Big Tone!"
