Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival Raises $20 Million

Olivia Rodrigo generated an impressive $10 million through the first Daisy Chain Fields Festival. The final amount then reached $20 million after philanthropist Melinda French Gates pledged to match the original total.

Before beginning her headline performance at the festival in Irvine, California, on Saturday, Rodrigo thanked the audience for supporting the event. She announced that the festival, which featured a strong lineup including Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Garbage and several others, had collected $10 million. Rodrigo then shared that Gates had donated an additional $10 million, raising the combined figure to $20 million.

“Daisy Chain Fields is about what can happen when we come together and use our collective power to support one another,” Rodrigo said. “I’m incredibly grateful to Melinda and Pivotal for believing in this mission and making the impact of our first festival twice as powerful. Most of all, I’m so excited about what this means for the incredible organizations we’re supporting and the women, girls and communities they show up for every single day.”

Gates appeared alongside Rodrigo onstage and praised the singer for the charitable work behind Daisy Chain Fields. “Olivia Rodrigo is a force,” French Gates said. “What Daisy Chain Fields sets in motion will last far beyond a single night, by opening up opportunity for women and girls around the world and showing a new generation how much their voices matter. I’m so proud to support Olivia’s vision.”

The full $20 million will be divided evenly among 10 nonprofit groups that provide support to women and girls. The selected organisations are Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeForm, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women’s Law Center and Planned Parenthood.

Festival visitors also watched performances from Bikini Kill, Eli, Mitski, Not for Radio, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold, the Breeders and many more artists. During the event, attendees were invited to discover more about the supported nonprofit groups through Daisy Chain Reaction, an initiative that provided information about their work and individual causes.

Trivium and In Flames Reveal Dates for Major 2027 UK and European Tour

Trivium and In Flames have revealed plans for an extensive tour across the UK and Europe in 2027.

The newly announced concerts follow news last month that the two metal groups would travel across North America together. Trivium will lead those performances, while In Flames will appear as special guests. Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy and Frozen Soul will provide additional support during the November and December run.

The bands have now expanded their partnership by arranging a collection of UK and European performances for 2027.

The schedule begins in Ireland at Dublin’s 3Arena on March 29. Concerts in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Cardiff will follow during the next week.

The European portion opens in Brussels on April 5 before visiting cities including Paris, Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Prague, Vienna and Copenhagen. The final concert will be held in Katowice, Poland, on May 7.

Trivium will headline the dates in the UK and Ireland, with In Flames appearing immediately before them. The order will change once the tour enters Scandinavia, where In Flames will close the shows.

Paleface Swiss and Vola will open every newly announced concert. General ticket sales begin Friday, August 28, at 10am CEST and 9am BST. Advance sales will begin tomorrow, Wednesday August 26.

“We’re beyond stoked to be joining forces with our longtime friends In Flames once again for another legendary run across Europe and the UK,” said Trivium. “With Paleface Swiss and VOLA joining us, this is going to be one hell of a bill. A new era of Trivium is about to begin. We’ll see you out there.”

In Flames added: “We are excited to return to Europe with our old friends in Trivium! Paleface Swiss and Vola round out an amazing bill. You don’t want to miss this epic night of metal coming YOUR way! See you soon…”
