Robbie Williams has been named an official Album Icon for the ninth National Album Day, which takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

The British star, whose achievements include a record 18 BRIT Awards and 16 UK Number 1 albums, joins PinkPantheress, Max Richter CBE and Melanie C in supporting this year’s celebrations. With legendary music icons as its 2026 theme, the event recognises the album’s lasting place in culture.

For the occasion, Universal Music Recordings and Island Records will release a limited edition of Williams’ third studio album, Sing When You're Winning, on red and blue vinyl across two LPs. The reissue gives the acclaimed 2000 record its first vinyl pressing in 25 years and retains the original release’s 45 RPM playback speed.

First released in August 2000, Sing When You're Winning earned 8× Platinum certification and remained on the UK charts for 77 weeks. Its hit singles included "Rock DJ," "Kids," his duet with Kylie Minogue, and "Supreme."

Held in association with BBC Radio 2, National Album Day unites record labels, independent music shops and listeners throughout the UK. Exclusive releases, shared listening sessions and celebrations of artists highlight the creativity behind the album format.

Oasis’ Live ’27 Tour Could Add More Support Acts, Says Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher says more opening acts will be announced for Oasis’ sold out Live ’27 tour.

So far, Richard Ashcroft is the only confirmed support act for the band’s second reunion tour. Oasis returned to the stage in 2025 after 16 years apart.

Liam has now suggested that he and his brother Noel Gallagher will be joined by several other acts across the tour’s 42 shows. The dates cover Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US and Ireland.

Replying to a fan who thought the tickets were reasonably priced, Liam wrote on X: “HALLA F***** LULU finally oh and there’s quite a few more support acts to be announced but we don’t care about that though coz OASIS are greedy bumba f****** clarts. (sic)” Tickets cost between £71.50 and £266.60, including fees.

Fans have been guessing who else might appear, with Villanelle, the band fronted by Liam’s son Gene, among the names mentioned.

Liam did rule out Australian band DMA’s. Asked by a fan whether they would play, he replied, “They have not made the list I’m afraid.”

On last year’s tour, Oasis were supported by Ashcroft, Cast, Cage the Elephant, Ball Park Music, Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Otoboke Beaver.

The band are also set to play six nights at Knebworth after adding four shows in response to demand.

The newly added Knebworth House dates are September 25 and 26. Oasis have also added a July 26 show at Rome’s Olympic Stadium and a July 6 date at Munich’s Allianz Arena.

The six Knebworth concerts would be the most by one act at the estate, passing Robbie Williams’ three shows there in August 2003. Oasis previously played two landmark concerts at the venue in 1996.

There has also been a change to the Paris schedule. With railway engineering work planned near the venue on July 24, the band will now perform there on July 20 and 23.

Liam has recently raised the possibility that Live ’27 could be Oasis’ final tour.

When a fan told him, “You once told me this isn’t a farewell tour,” Liam answered, “It isn’t a farewell tour but it still could be our last.”

He is known to joke with fans online, so it remains unclear how seriously he meant the remark.
