CHRIS BROWN’S DISABLED FAN DEBUNKS RUMOR HE REFUNDED HER $11K MEET & GREET SPENDINGS

Chris Brown‘s meet and greets with his fans have been the subject of countless viral posts online, though not all of them have been truthful.

On Sunday (June 30), a social-media user who goes by Lushotz shared images of a woman on crutches meeting with the R&B singer and wrote: “This woman paid $1,111 for a ‘Meet & Greet’ with Chris Brown. When he saw her, refunded her money and also gave her an extra $10k, along with these beautiful pictures.”

Not long after the post began making the rounds online, the person in the photographs uploaded a video to dispute the the story.

“I’m just here to set the record straight,” she said. “What I’m not okay with is strangers on the internet using my face and exploiting my disability for likes and clicks while spreading misinformation. That we not gonna do. Just like everyone else, I support Chris as a brand and as an individual, so if you see me at a show or meet and greet, please know that I paid for my ticket. I paid to get there.

“This going around takes away from everything that I personally did to get there. It takes away from the hours I work. It takes away from the things that I sacrificed to work the overtime because I wanted to treat myself.”

Brown’s popularity in the entertainment circuit is tough to dispute. To that point, Fat Joe recently praised the superstar and even compared him to Michael Jackson.

The Bronx rapper took to Instagram Live last month to give Breezy his flowers, claiming he’d be put on a high pedestal if it wasn’t for his domestic violence case involving Rihanna back in 2009.

“If Chris Brown never got into the controversy with Rihanna, we would be calling him Michael Jackson right now,” he said. “Not like Michael Jackson — Michael Jackson. He is the most talented singer, artist, performer, hitmaker of our time.

“There’s nobody even close to Chris Brown, and it’s time we move past it. It’s been 20-something years that I know of — there’s no more incidents. We gon’ let this lifetime go by without saying the truth?”

He added: “What happens is, when the truth is an unpopular decision, everybody gets scared to say it. They get canceled, especially famous people. But you know, the streets … they know what it is. Streets always know, they tell you the truth.”

Fat Joe also claimed the “streets” are still listening to R. Kelly despite the Chicago native being sentenced to 20 years in prison for child sexual abuse.

Rihanna Laughs At Reporter Who Asks If She Attended Diddy Parties: Watch

image

Diddy knows everybody in the music industry. He's been one of the most well-connected moguls of the last three decades. Anyone who has made it big has been photographed with him, or has interacted with him at some point. Rihanna is no exception. The pop icon was recently leaving a party when journalists approached her and began asking her about the Diddy scandal. She was asked whether she had ever attended one of the mogul's alleged "freak offs," and she gave a characteristically Rihanna answer.

The questions were quick and direct. "Did you attend any of P. Diddy's parties?," the singer was asked while being escorted by her security. "Were you involved in any of the 'freak offs'?" It was the second line of questioning that elicited a response. Rihanna couldn't help but crack a smirk, and she can be seen and heard mumbling the phrase "that's crazy" as she gets in her vehicle. The timing of her response was not lost on the journalists, who can be heard laughing behind the camera. The singer might find the whole thing crazy, but this question has seemingly become the norm for fans and journalists.

Rihanna Dismissed The Questions As Being "Crazy"

Rihanna and Diddy have not have many interactions over the years. At least, publicly. They have been photographed together at parties and public events. They exchanged niceties during the 2014 iHeart Radio Music Awards when they were both onstage. Diddy also commented on the domestic abuse that Rihanna suffered at the hands of Chris Brown. Unsurprisingly, the mogul's comments have aged very poorly in light of the allegations made against him. "We know sometimes those relationships get ugly, you know," he said during a 2009 appearance on Ellen.

People want to know who was and wasn't involved with Diddy's alleged crimes. Joe Budden, a man who gets paid to talk about other artists for a living, felt the need to set the record straight during his podcast. "For the last time, can y’all take me off the list of names that y’all think is on these tapes," the ex-rapper asked. "I ran the jokes long but I thought the joke was a joke because of who I be." Then there was Trick Daddy. The Miami rapper went on Instagram Live and threatened to beat up the next person who asked if he ever attended a Diddy party. "I'mma slap the sh*t out you," he asserted. "They don't like my kind at them parties."
