Tyler, The Creator‘s new album Chromakopia is here — and it boasts a bevy of big names.
Released early Monday morning (October 28) — subverting the industry trend of albums coming out on Fridays — the 14-track project features appearances from Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, ScHoolboy Q, Doechii, Teezo Touchdown, Solange, Daniel Caesar and Santigold.
Wayne, who is something of a firm fixture on Tyler projects having previously appeared on Cherry Bomb, Flower Boy and Call Me If You Get Lost, spits a verse on the rambunctious “Sticky” alongside the one-two female rap combo of Big Sexyy and Big Glo.
Gambino contributes backing vocals to “Judge Judy” and “I Killed You,” marking the first collaborations between the former rivals.
While sharing the stage at Coachella earlier this year, Tyler admitted that he used to “hate” the Atlanta star, joking: “I don’t know why. I gotta go to therapy to figure it out.”
He added that his opinion shifted when he heard “Urn” from Gambino’s 2013 album Because the Internet.
Behind the boards, Chromakopia is produced and arranged entirely by Tyler himself.

Chromakopia arrived on streaming services mere hours after the Odd Future founder debuted the album during a sold-out listening event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The $5-a-ticket show saw Tyler dressed in a black mask and military uniform while stood on green-lit shipping containers inside the recently-opened $2 billion home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
After performing the album in its entirety for the very first time, Tyler gave a brief speech to the crowd where he explained the inspiration behind Chromakopia.
“This album originally started [with me] growing up in these areas. I was like, ‘Oh shit, no one knows anything about me from before, like, 17,'” he said.
“The album kinda just turned into me taking a bunch of shit my mom told me as a kid. Now that I’m 33, all of that stuff is like ‘Oh, that’s what the fuck she was talking about!'”
He added: “People are getting older, folks are having kids and families, and all I got is a new Ferrari. I’m gaining weight, I got a gray hair on my chest.
“Life is life-ing and I just wanted to write about stuff that I think about when I’m dolo. And I’m happy that y’all got to experience it in my hometown.”
Those who weren’t at the show need not miss out as Tyler, The Creator will be taking his new album on the road next year as part of the Chromakopia World Tour.
The massive 64-date trek begins on February 4 and will see the Grammy-winner make stops in cities such as Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Miamia, Chicago, New York and Toronto.
Nestled among the North American dates is a European leg that runs from April 25 to May 30, while a five-city jaunt in Australia and New Zealand brings the tour to a close in August and September.
Lil Yachty and Paris Texas will join Tyler on the road as opening acts. Tickets are available here.
