Courtney Love is set to appear on 070 Shake‘s upcoming new album ‘Petrichor’.

The soloist and former Hole frontwoman will feature on a collaboration called ‘Song To The Siren’, according to a tracklist for the forthcoming record – which was announced last month.

‘Petrichor’ will also contain team-ups with JT (on ‘Into Your Garden’) and Cam (‘Never Let Us Fade’).

Other song titles include ‘Battlefield’, ‘Lungs’, ‘Blood On Your Hands’ and ‘Love’. Additionally, 070 Shake’s third full-length record – the follow-up to 2022’s ‘You Can’t Kill Me’ – will feature the US rapper/singer’s recent two-part single ‘Winter Baby / New Jersey Blues’.

The full tracklist for the project is currently displayed on Apple Music and Spotify – check out the screenshot below.

Last year, Love selected 070 Shake’s song ‘The Pines’ for a party playlist she put together for Dazed.

‘Petrichor’ is due for release this Friday (November 15) via Def Jam Recordings/ G.O.O.D Music. You can pre-order/pre-save it here.

070 Shake (real name Danielle Balbuena) stars in the official music video for ‘Winter Baby / New Jersey Blues’ alongside her girlfriend – actress, model and singer Lily-Rose Depp.

Speaking about ‘Petrichor’ in an interview with Cultured this June, 070 Shake explained: “It’s going to feel like a breath of fresh air. ‘Petrichor’ is a feeling – the perfect word to describe this body of music.”

Addressing her fans, she continued: “I hope they’re willing to take it in, to be thirsty and invigorated by it.”

Additionally, the artist revealed that the album would contain less autotune and fewer synths, with more guitar parts instead, when compared to her previous material.

The newly revealed tracklist confirms that her 2023 song ‘Natural Habitat’ (feat. Ken Carson) will not appear on the imminent ‘Petrichor’. The track appears in the final episode of Industry season three.

Back in March, Raye and 070 Shake won the Song Of The Year award at the BRITs 2024 for the collaborative track ‘Escapism’.

In other news, Courtney Love recently recalled the time she had to “fake her way through” a lengthy chat about Muse with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. This September, she reflected on the 33rd anniversary of Hole‘s debut album ‘Pretty On The Inside’.

PnB Rock's Murder: New Video Evidence Debunks Theory About His Girlfriend's Involvement

image

New details have emerged regarding the killing of PnB Rock. According to CBS News Philadelphia, new surveillance footage from the Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant in Los Angeles where the rapper was killed debunks a popular internet theory that his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang, revealed their location on social media, helping the killers find them.

In the video, the set-up begins the moment Rock walks into the restaurant. They ended up having to wait 40 minutes for their food, during which time Rock made a phone call. The video also shows the moment of his death, which confirms the rapper never had a realistic chance to hand over his jewelry, as he was shot just seconds after the gunman approached him.

Sibounheuang has spoken out about the trauma she's dealt with from Rock's death numerous times on social media. “I am 100% not ok,” she wrote in 2022. “If I wasn’t spiritual I could kill my self (but then I’ll go to hell and my man not there) My man saved my life, Throwing me under that table. I’m not supposed to be here but bc of him. I am. No one would be able to handle this. TBH, I can’t even handle this." Kodak Black was one of the many voices to put blame on Sibounheuang for Rock's death.
