Lil Uzi Vert has once again shown that they truly are for the people. Much like Santa Claus, the Philadelphia artist proved that spirit by replying to fan letters and surprising supporters with gifts they asked for this Christmas. As spotted by Complex, Uzi shared several heartfelt messages on social media from fans who opened up about how much the music has meant to them.
One young fan named Jackson asked for a signed skateboard, and Uzi made sure it happened while also letting him know how meaningful his letter was. “Thank you so much for taking the time out of your beautiful life to check up on me and tell me how much I mean to you.”
The hitmaker added, “Here is my skateboard. Learn some tricks and send videos. Remember you’re younger than me so you have time to be better than me...” before joking a bit more. “Oh, yea, our handwriting looks similar... you should work on that LOVE YOU [red heart emoji fire emoji] COR(E).”
Another supporter named Drake happened to be working on a school assignment that required him to write an “outrageous” letter and ask for any gift he wanted. He requested either two tickets to a future show or a silver diamond chain.
While Uzi did not go through with those specific requests, they still came through with a thoughtful surprise by buying him a pair of Balenciaga glasses.

Vert also included a personal note in response, writing, “Wassup twin, so listen I really appreciate you hittin me up... especially around the holidays... that’s so real.” They continued, “You told me you wanted a chain with diamonds. I really thought hard about it. I went to the jewelry store and looked at some stuff and was like ‘nahhhhhhhh, hold on, twin don’t even have balenciaga glasses yet.’ So we gonna start here. Love you bro [glasses emoji red heart emoji] COR(E).”
It is easy to imagine how moments like this made Christmas even more memorable for those fans, which makes the gesture all the more special.
Lil Uzi has also been showing generosity on the music front lately. If you have not been keeping up, they are essentially operating as an independent artist now, while still holding a distribution deal with Roc Nation.
That shift has allowed the “Money Mitch” songwriter to release music at a rapid pace over the past month. Their most recent drop was the Jersey club inspired “What You Saying,” which arrived alongside a music video featuring fashion icons such as Marc Jacobs.
And the run may not be slowing down anytime soon. Uzi hinted at more to come in an Instagram Story on Wednesday, writing, “Might as well keep going. I feel really good but I luv y’all. I’m so happy 1M thank y’all so much. Gotta give thanks 2 the cor(e).”
Could this be a sign that an album is on the way?
