Tinashe says she will only support artists on tour if they “really understand” who she is creatively.

The 33 year old singer will join Harry Styles in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 2 and 3, launching the North American section of the ‘Watermelon Sugar’ star’s Together, Together tour.

Speaking onstage at the Spotify x Coach event on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, Tinashe said: “I think when it comes to opening acts, I’ve opened for a lot amazing artists.

“I’ve opened for Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Beyonce, I’ve done a cool run.

“So, I think I reached a point where I was like, I’m not gonna open for anyone unless I feel like they really understand what I’m about, and I’m going to be there and feel comfortable and express myself to their audience.”

Before finding success in music during the mid 2010s, Tinashe appeared in projects including The Polar Express and Out of Jimmy’s Head. She explained that Harry fits the qualities she now looks for in a headline artist.

She continued: “And I will say that the Harry shows, and Harry Styles in general, I feel like he’s very open to the artistry and wanting fans to have a good time.

“And that’s, at the end of the day, what it’s really all about.

“Being able to go into these rooms and see people and connect with people, and have these experiences through music and through performances.”

The ‘Nasty’ singer also said she is “excited” to perform at stadiums, something she has never previously experienced with her own music.

She said: “That’s what it’s all about. So, I’m excited to be able to get up there in Phoenix.

“That’ll be really fun! It’ll be sick, I never perform my songs in a stadium! It’ll be great!”

The newly announced dates follow the enormous success of the tour in 2026 and will bring Styles’ production to stadiums throughout the United States and Canada for the first time.

The 2027 schedule begins with two concerts at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix on April 2 and 3. It will then visit Dallas, Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta and Chicago before moving to Europe for performances in Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Rome and Dublin. Styles will conclude the summer with three homecoming shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.

A different special guest will appear in each city, with Styles assembling one of his most varied supporting lineups so far. Kylie Minogue, Tears For Fears, Tinashe, Caroline Polachek, Feist, LCD Soundsystem, Lainey Wilson, Baby Rose, Q Marsden, The Womack Sisters, Getdown Services and CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso are scheduled to perform on selected dates.

The tour began in May 2026 and originally included 67 concerts across Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne and Sydney. Styles is currently halfway through a record breaking 30 night residency at Madison Square Garden, his only American performances of 2026, before travelling to Australia in December.

Styles will also maintain his decade long partnership with Choose Love, helping fund humanitarian projects worldwide. For the London dates, £1 from every ticket purchased will be donated to LIVE Trust to support grassroots music venues. Fans attending the American shows will once again have opportunities to register to vote through HeadCount pop ups.

Environmental measures will continue through Green Nation, including plans to limit single use materials, promote travel with a smaller environmental impact and lower emissions by using HVO fuel whenever possible.
