MEEK MILL JOINS YUNG MIAMI IN UNFOLLOWING DIDDY ON INSTAGRAM AFTER CASSIE ASSAULT FOOTAGE

Meek Mill has quietly distanced himself from Diddy after footage of the mogul assaulting Cassie surfaced online last week.

The Philly rapper is no longer following the Bad Boy Records boss on Instagram, joining Yung Miami’s as she did the same in the aftermath of the leaked video.

It is worth noting that he has previously given the businessman the benefit of the doubt regarding the myriad of sexual assault, harassment and misconduct cases filed against him due to his own alleged involvement in the ordeal.

“I don’t believe no Diddy story once they lied about me now!,” the 37-year-old MC tweeted last month. “Anybody try to sexually assault me it will be a bang out on the spot how yall don’t know that lol I don’t care but yall confusing my son he’s 12 with people saying his dad gay it’s sick now outchea so fuck it lol.”

Prior to that, the “Dreams and Nightmares” MC vehemently shut down rumors that he had a sexual relationship with Diddy after a lawsuit claimed the two were intimate with one another.

Back in February, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones (who worked on Diddy’s The Love Album: Off the Grid) accused the mogul of sexual harassment as well as drugging and threatening him over the course of a year.

The legal paperwork has since been circulating online, with one note in particular generating tons of attention: “Mr. Combs informed Mr. Jones that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with rapper (REDACTED), R&B singer (REDACTED), and Stevie J.”

Though the two names were concealed, footnotes attached to each suggest that the lawsuit refers to Meek Mill and Usher given the respective descriptions: “He is a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj” and “He performed at the Superbowl and had a successful Vegas residency.”

Soon after the documents went viral, Meek re-shared a clip of Akademiks‘ live reaction to the above details and wrote: “The way you n-ggas coming on the sick now… I can’t wait to meet akademiks lol they know I drop tomar this they damage control this net getting too weird.

“Bitch ass n-ggas ain’t gone play no Games with me… they trying to do damage control … the same theing they almost tricked yall with lil baby. Akademiks an alcoholic fully powered by the White man … who you think posting that on every website! They be so madddddddddddd they can’t stop its few groups! Lol.”

He added: “Get me his addy ima shoot a full production music video in front of his house! lol seriously get me that one in nj!!!!!”

“He’s an alcoholic with no life talking to kids on a computer… normal kids watch Kai [Cenat] … adin [Ross] ..Wallogillie [Da Kid] …..you a sick old black man with no life achievements trying to destroy black men because you envy us as men.”

Shifting his focus away from the media personality, he made it clear that the claims about him and Diddy are untrue while elaborating on his lifestyle.

“I’m from Philly I don’t do coke or freaky ass molly … nobody won’t even offer me coke because I’m that heavy …. No man or watt would ever approach me about gay activity and the whole place don’t get flipped … woke up seeing this on every blog like they know I’m coming! Lol,” he wrote.

“That’s why I always come around all these industry n-ggas with my real friends .You never catch me around anybody from the industry alone..you can’t even hold a convo without my dawgs stepping in the room it’s been that way … I can’t til yall find out I’m the illest in this shit lol.”

Pop Smoke's Alleged Killer Reportedly Released From Prison

image

According to numerous online reports and social media activity, authorities reportedly released one of Pop Smoke's alleged killers from jail (specifically juvie) for what seems like his 21st birthday. Moreover, there isn't a lot of concrete information available about this supposed release at press time, other than this being the completion of the alleged killer's four-year sentence for pleading guilty to murder. This follows other developments in the New York drill rapper's murder case, such as an alleged eyewitness explaining how it all went down. That took place on social media, though, not in court. As such, there are still a lot of unanswered questions and doubts when it comes to this tragedy.

Furthermore, four years have passed since Pop Smoke died in a home invasion and robbery, and only one defendant remains in his case. Corey Walker is also the only adult defendant in this case, and the court delayed his trial due to an inability to settle a plea agreement with prosecutors. "Negotiations fell through, but there’s still a possibility we’ll come to an agreement," defense attorney Deion Benjamin told Rolling Stone. "A few things need to be ironed out. If they don’t get resolved, we’ll go to trial," for which jury selection would begin on August 6.

Pop Smoke's Alleged Killer Is Reportedly Free

However, this vague release definitely isn't the most odd or bizarre thing to emerge out of this Pop Smoke case. Some connected it to the death of rapper Sirtanky, and believe that the latter passed away as a move of retaliation for the murder of the former. In fact, the Los Angeles rapper washed up in a barrel on the shores of Malibu, a gruesome and disturbing end with unclear context behind it. Hopefully no further violence affects this whole situation.

Meanwhile, Pop Smoke continues to live on as a staple of contemporary New York hip-hop, falling alongside city legends that have also done a lot to rep for the city in their respective eras. Sadly, his time on this Earth was far too short for him to fully enjoy and realize his impact, potential, talents, and life. Hopefully this release is a sign of completed justice, and that folks involved have learned from their horrific actions. We'll see how else The Woo endures.
