Dolly Parton is going to Las Vegas. On Monday (June 23) the country icon announced a limited engagement concert residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, set for six nights in December.

Parton will perform on Dec. 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 13. She’ll be “weaving together seven decades of classic hits and fan favorites including ‘9 to 5,’ ‘Jolene,’ ‘I Will Always Love You’ and ‘Coat of Many Colors,'” says a press release from her representatives.

“To say I’m excited would be an understatement,” Parton herself said in a statement released Monday morning. “I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there!”

Tickets for Dolly: Live in Las Vegas are scheduled to go on sale via Ticketmaster on Wednesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. PT.

Ticket options will include a range of VIP packages, with extras like a personal photo opportunity with Parton, an onstage tour, access to the singer’s Rhinestone Lounge, a deluxe gift set and more.

All shows will begin at 8 p.m.

The concert dates, marking Parton’s first extended run in Las Vegas since a short engagement in the early ’90s — at the then-new, but now-closed, Mirage Hotel, where she performed alongside Kenny Rogers — fall during the week of the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas.

Parton’s most recent full-length album, Rockstar, was released in 2023, earning the No. 1 spot on the Top Country Albums chart and reaching No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200.

In March 2025, she released a heartfelt song in tribute to her late husband, Carl Dean (“If You Hadn’t Been There“).

Since 2024, Parton has featured on a number of projects for fellow artists, from Beyoncé (“Tyrant” and the interlude “Dolly P“) and Post Malone (“Have a Heart“) to Sabrina Carpenter (a remix of “Please Please Please“) and Mötley Crüe (a reimagined “Home Sweet Home“).

Finesse2tymes arrested in Texas for alleged drug offenses

image

Finesse2tymes has faced many legal battles over the years, and it appears he has found himself in trouble once again. According to The Neighborhood Talk, the Memphis rapper was recently arrested in Dallas, Texas, on multiple drug-related charges. These reportedly include possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substances, tampering with evidence, and bringing prohibited items into a correctional facility.

As of now, no bond has been set, so it remains uncertain when Finesse2tymes might be released. His team has not made any public statements about the situation. His mother, Pluria Alexander, however, decided to speak out. In a Facebook post shared earlier today, she reflected on their strained relationship while addressing his latest arrest.

“Until you do right by me everything you think about gone fail," she began. "All these other people don’t care nothing about you, why you can’t see that!… As a mother, this pain is different. It breaks me to see my son losing himself — mentally unstable, going through breakdowns, on drugs, in and out of jail, and disrespecting me and everyone who tries to help him."

"I love him with everything in me, but it hurts so bad watching him self-destruct," she continued. "I know that’s not the real him… That’s the pain, the trauma, and the demons he’s fighting. I pray for him every day, even when I feel like I can’t take it anymore. I just want my son back — the one with a good heart and a bright future. People don’t understand what it’s like to love somebody who’s hurting themselves and pushing you away at the same time. It’s a constant heartbreak. But no matter what, I’ll always be his mother, and I’ll always love him. Right Or wrong. This S**t HURT."

This latest incident comes nearly a month after Finesse2tymes was arrested in Texas alongside the mother of his child, FNG Shugga. That previous arrest involved allegations related to gun and drug possession.
