On January 1, Uncle Murda officially released his long awaited year end recap, “Rap Up 2025.” The record walks through many of the biggest hip hop moments from the past year and delivers exactly what fans expect from the tradition. He addresses Diddy’s sex trafficking case and sentencing, along with Netflix’s widely discussed 50 Cent produced docuseries, Sean Combs: The Reckoning. Murda also takes aim at Young Thug over leaked phone calls from prison, including audio where he is allegedly heard speaking with authorities about Peewee Roscoe. Elsewhere, he touches on Cardi B’s ongoing tension with Nicki Minaj, Ja Rule being attacked, Blueface returning home from prison, and plenty of other headlines that kept the culture buzzing.
