Cardi B’s NFL boyfriend Stefon Diggs has been confirmed as the father of Instagram model Aileen Lopera’s baby.
The Fashion Nova ambassador filed a paternity lawsuit against Diggs in December 2024.
“The paternity has been confirmed. Mr. Diggs is the father of the child,” Lopera’s attorney told Page Six.
“Now that the child’s paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work toward being great parents to their child.”
Although paternity has been confirmed, Lopera’s lawyer told the outlet that the case has not yet been closed and “will move forward if the parties are not able to resolve it themselves.”
When she first filed, Lopera asked the court for both legal and physical custody of the baby, with Diggs receiving visitation rights only.
She also sought coverage for her pregnancy and birth expenses, along with payment of her legal fees.
The model gave birth to a baby girl in April of this year.
In July, Diggs responded to the lawsuit by requesting a genetic test to confirm paternity, stating that he was “not certain” if he was the father.
If proven to be the biological father, Diggs requested joint legal and physical custody of his daughter, as well as an even split of medical and legal costs.
Since then, Diggs has begun a new relationship with rapper Cardi B, who is currently expecting their first child together — a baby boy.
