VASSY Calls Tomorrowland Performance a Full Circle Moment

VASSY is balancing a fresh release, life with a new baby and a major appearance at one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world. Her schedule may be packed, but she is enjoying every part of it.

Raised in Darwin and now living in the United States, the singer and songwriter released “DAY N NIGHT” today, July 24. Created with fellow Australian musician BUST-R, the energetic dance floor track draws inspiration from classic house music. VASSY will introduce the song live at the sold out Tomorrowland Belgium on Sunday, July 26, exactly 10 years after her powerful festival performance with Tiësto.

“Tomorrowland has always held a special place in my heart because it’s where I shared one of the most memorable moments of my career, performing ‘Secrets’ with Tiësto in front of one of the largest crowds in the world,” VASSY tells Billboard. “Now, years later, I’m returning as a new mom to premiere the first single of an entirely new chapter — a moment that feels incredibly special both personally and professionally.”

She is making the quick transition from Momland to Tomorrowland without any complaints.

VASSY has established herself as a groundbreaking figure in EDM, earning more than 3 billion career streams and six No. 1 entries on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart. She has also received an APRA Billions Award and made history in 2023 as the first woman and first Australian honored with the EDMA Icon Award.

“To share the stage with a fellow Aussie artist I’ve built such a creative bond with makes this even more meaningful,” she says about her Tomorrowland appearance. Away from their recordings, VASSY and BUST-R support Australian dance musicians through their shared radio program. They will carry that same energy into Continental Europe when “DAY N NIGHT” receives its first live performance, an occasion she says “feels like a full-circle moment in the best possible way.”

“DAY N NIGHT” continues VASSY’s run of releases throughout 2026. Her recent music includes “On Me” with Australian producer Mind Electric, featuring BUST-R on the official mix, which entered the Top 40 of Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart and reached the Top 10 of the ARIA Club Chart. She has also released “Pretty Lady,” “Quiet Storms,” “Star” and “Night & Day.”

When asked what audiences in Boom can anticipate from the show, VASSY replied, “Energy, emotion, and a celebration of this new chapter.” She added, “After everything that’s changed, it feels incredibly special to return to where so much began and share this moment with the fans.”

VASSY will appear on Tomorrowland’s Planaxis stage Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m.

JAY-Z Completes His New Album As Release Faces One Final Delay

image

JAŸ-Z has enjoyed an incredible year so far. The rapper is marking three decades since Reasonable Doubt arrived, while The Blueprint is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The lasting impact of both records was highlighted during his three performances at Yankee Stadium.

Hov is also scheduled to take the stage in France, England, and Los Angeles over the next several months. His growing concert schedule has convinced many listeners that another record could be approaching. Beyoncé recently shaving his hair has only added to those theories.

JAŸ-Z also delivered a new verse on the remix of Beyoncé’s “Morning Dew.” The appearance created even more conversation about his current musical plans. Nine years have passed since 4:44 arrived, leaving supporters eager to hear fresh material.

Ray Daniels now claims the speculation can finally end because the record has already been completed. However, one major issue is reportedly preventing the music executive from releasing it.

JAŸ-Z Reportedly Needs A Deal Before Releasing His Album

JAŸ-Z is apparently searching for the right business arrangement. If he cannot secure a suitable partner for the release, he reportedly has no intention of moving forward. Daniels did not provide specific information about the proposed agreement, though he suggested Hov may want exclusive terms or a significant advance.

Daniels added that someone within JAŸ-Z’s inner circle verified the information during a phone conversation. He had already shared his belief that Hov was preparing another project, and the private confirmation later supported his earlier prediction.

A new JAŸ-Z record could provide an exciting conclusion to 2026, but listeners may need to remain patient. Hov has not personally announced the project, and five months still remain before the year ends. Even so, the latest information suggests something important could be coming soon.
