Busta Rhymes Reveals NSFW Reason For Losing Weight

Busta Rhymes was one of six rap icons featured in Men’s Health latest issue. The other respective figures included were 50 CentCommonWiz KhalifaMethod Man, and Ludacris. Each had a forthright approach to their interviews, laying out their personal journeys to better themselves. Of all the methods and experiences detailed in these feature pieces, Busta Rhymes might take the cake for the most out-there story that began his path to a healthier self.

What is that exactly? Well, Busta Rhymes harkens back to a “mindf**k-” moment with his ex-wife. He vividly remembers this period in his life when he was not at his best physically. One night, they were sharing an intimate time together. All of a sudden, he had difficulties inhaling. Not wanting to see his significant other have to stress and panic about the situation, he exited the bedroom to recollect himself. A traumatic-like episode encouraged him to lose 100 pounds.

Back On The Road

Busta Rhymes had even more to share in his interview with Men’s Health. After his wife at the time found him in a state of shock to Busta, she said, “‘This is not who I fell in love with.'” She continued, “‘When I met you, you wasn’t like a musclehead, but was slim, you was cut, you had your shit right. I need you to get back to who I fell in love with.’” He also talked about how his son used to slap his stomach while greeting him, poking fun at his weight. Furthermore, he had surgery done on his vocal cords due to polyps blocking 90 percent of his throat.

But now Busta is back to feeling great and performing in front of thousands of fans on The Final Lap Tour with 50 Cent and Jeremih. What do you think about Busta Rhymes and what influenced him to lose weight? Was his ex-wife right to call him out to slim down? What are your overall thoughts? Megan Thee Stallion Hospitalized After Getting Sick During Moulin Rouge! The Musical Performance

Megan Thee Stallion was taken to hospital after becoming unwell during her appearance in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Tuesday evening.

The Savage hitmaker, whose real name is Megan Pete, began her planned eight week engagement in the production last week, taking on the role of Harold Zidler. The show is currently running at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.

However, according to a statement from the production team, Megan had to step away from the show after she began experiencing health issues.

"During Tuesday night's production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated," a representative shared. "We will share additional updates as more information becomes available."

Meanwhile, Megan’s hairstylist Kellon Deryck also reached out to fans, asking them to send their support to the rapper.

"Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital," he wrote.

At this time, spokespersons for the 31 year old performer have not released any new information.

Megan has made history as the first female identifying artist to take on the role of Zidler, a character first played by Danny Burstein, in any global production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

"Stepping onto the Broadway stage and joining the Moulin Rouge! The Musical team is an absolute honour," the Hot Girl Summer artist said previously. "I've always believed in pushing myself creatively and theatre is definitely a new opportunity that I'm excited to embrace. Broadway demands a different level of discipline, preparation and storytelling, but I'm up for the challenge and can't wait for the Hotties (her fans) to see a new side of me."

Moulin Rouge! The Musical is scheduled to end its Broadway run on 26 July, bringing a seven year run to a close.
