Offset has delivered his latest primetime TV performance, with Don Toliver joining him to bring their latest collaboration to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The two appeared on the late night talk show on Friday (November 24) for an energetic rendition of “Worth It,” the third single from Offset’s sophomore album Set It Off, which arrived on October 13. To date, the track has garnered over 18 million streams on both YouTube and Spotify separately.
While the performance was recorded on a chilly fall day in New York City, Offset and Toliver brought a tropical vibe to 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The pair appeared in front of an ocean backdrop, complete with prop palm trees, beach balls and sand.
Check out the performance below.
He kicked off the promo run with a now viral 24-hour Twitch livestream with Kai Cenat, which gave the internet tons of lighthearted moments, including the former Migos rapper dancing, falling out of his chair laughing and event confronting his fear of snakes.
Days later, Set’s interview with comedian Bobbi Althoff made headlines itself, after striking a negative tone with a lot of fans, including Jemele Hill.
On September 25, the sports reporter shared a promotional clip of The Really Good Podcast episode with her own thoughts about its broader implications for Hip Hop media.
“I don’t find these types of interviews particularly enjoyable or interesting,” she wrote. “Instead it just sadly points out how real Hip Hop journalism has been practically erased.
He bounced right back and found himself at the center of a true moment for the culture, when he was invited to join Usher on stage during his a brief Paris residency. And the day before dropping the album, the Atlanta rapper delivered an impressive Funk Flex freestyle, in which he dubbed Migos the biggest group to come out of music since The Jackson 5.
All the promo seemed to pay off: Set It Off debuted at No. 5 after earning 70,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, according to Billboard.
Following the news, Cardi took to X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter, to let the world know how proud she was of her spouse — and to drop some hints about her own music career.
She wrote: “So proud of my baby!! Going against all odds… leaving his label, starting fresh, staying focused determined and not letting nothing break him… he did that!”
Offset had a thing or two to say about his own project as well. Just hours after the news broke about Set It Off‘s Billboard 200 placement, the former Migos member shared a message explaining what its success meant to him.
“I want to thank everyone that love the album you guys dont know how hard I work on this project with all that went on in my life…we pushing through!!!!!” he wrote.
