Choosing authenticity over fame, Alexander turned his back on the lucrative industry and revisited his roots, reigniting his passion for rock music—a genre that had always resonated with him. A pivotal moment occurred during a visit to a record store, where he recognized the stark contrasts between rock and rap. “I went home and picked up my guitar, and it hit me: this is where I want to be,” he shares, leading to the formation of the acclaimed alternative rock band St8 of Grace. Their releases garnered significant attention, including a popular remake of “Killer Queen.” over a million spotify streams.
After the band’s break up, Lemoyne took time for reflection before heeding his late father’s final words to pursue his own musical path. This led to the creation of his debut solo album, Solitude, in 2019, followed by Perfect World in 2023. Now, in 2024, he is set to unveil his latest single, “Insecurity,” which captures the emotional turmoil he faced during a challenging period in his life. “I wrote the track during some really insecure times, when everything felt like it was falling apart,” he explains. With its blend of hard and pop rock and rich vocal harmonies, “Insecurity” marks yet another evolution in Alexander’s artistic journey.
