YK Osiris Addresses His Tough Loss At Adin Ross' Boxing Event

YK Osiris has had his fair share of boxing matchups over the years, but you know what they say: you win some, you lose some. He recently lost by unanimous decision to Scam Likely at an Adin Ross boxing event, and it was kind of tough to see. The rapper and singer looked absolutely exhausted when they wrapped things up, and an unclear altercation seemed to break out in the ring after the match ended. Nevertheless, after getting some rest and letting social media have its fun for a little bit, he returned to social media to tease new music on the way and thank folks for their support and viewership.

"I just want to say I appreciate everybody, I love y'all, for the support," YK Osiris remarked. "I was tired as hell, man, I was so tired. But I got through it, you know? And salute to bruh, you know? I'ma salute to him, you know? Great boxer. He did his thing, and I salute him for that, for sure. Let's do it." His last album was 2024's YK WORLD, also known as Dear Fans.

Did YK Osiris Beef With NBA YoungBoy?

Of course, many people started to clown on the Jacksonville native after this boxing loss, which is one of many narratives against YK Osiris online. For example, Foolio claimed back in 2023 that Osiris actually gave him information on NBA YoungBoy that led to a confrontation. "Man, leave me the f**k out of that, n***a," YK responded. "You know damn well I ain't got nothing to do with that. Stand on your own. You a man, bruh, stand on your own. I'm not with none of that, bruh. That ain't no real n***a s**t."

Meanwhile, YK Osiris' other rifts on the Internet haven't done him any favors when it comes to drumming up genuine interest in his musical evolution. But it seemed like he took a turn last year towards more focus and clarity, so hopefully whatever material emerges in the future speaks for itself. Whether or not Osiris trains more in the ring or in the booth, he's getting up after a knockdown.

Pooh Shiesty Taken Into Custody Following Claims Of Robbery And Kidnapping Of Gucci Mane

Pooh Shiesty has reportedly been taken into custody following allegations that he was involved in the robbery and kidnapping of Gucci Mane.

The Memphis artist, whose legal name is Lontrell Williams Jr., was detained by federal agents on Wednesday (April 1). According to TMZ, he was arrested alongside Big30 and six additional individuals, all facing charges connected to robbery and kidnapping.

According to the Department of Justice, Pooh Shiesty, Big30, and several others are accused of entering a Dallas recording studio on January 10, where multiple people present were allegedly robbed. Gucci Mane is said to have been among those involved in the incident.

Investigators also claim that Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr., may have played a role in the situation.

Authorities say Shiesty arranged a meeting with Gucci Mane and other industry figures under the pretense of discussing business agreements related to his recording deal. A spokesperson for the DOJ stated that the group then allegedly carried out what was described as a coordinated armed takeover.

Prosecutors allege that one person was forced to sign paperwork related to a contract release while under threat of a firearm. The group also faces accusations of taking money and jewellery from those present.

Reports from WFAA state that one individual was allegedly choked during the incident to the point where they nearly lost consciousness. Big30 is also accused of standing at the entrance to stop anyone from leaving.

Federal agents also carried out a search of Shiesty’s residence in Memphis on Wednesday.

“The victims in this case came to Dallas to conduct legitimate business and they were met with firearms and violence,” Ryan Raybould, the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Texas, where the complaint was filed, said at a news conference Thursday, per AP News.

As of now, neither Pooh Shiesty nor Gucci Mane have issued public statements regarding the situation.

The rapper joined Gucci Mane’s 1017 label in 2020 and quickly gained recognition following the release of his 2021 mixtape Shiesty Season.

In 2022, he received a five year prison sentence after pleading guilty to a firearms conspiracy charge connected to a shooting that took place in October 2020 at a hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. Authorities said a 28 year old man was shot in the buttocks during that incident.

He ultimately served three years and was released last October. His return to music included the single “FDO,” which debuted at Number 12 on the Hot 100. At the time prosecutors say the alleged robbery and kidnapping took place, he was reportedly under home detention.
