Global superstar The Weeknd has once again cemented his place in music history, breaking the record for the most shows by a male artist at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium. His monumental After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Tour saw him perform an unprecedented seven sold-out dates at the iconic venue.
This remarkable seven-night residency underscores The Weeknd's unparalleled prowess as a live performer. It extends his consistent run of sold-out stadiums and record-breaking achievements across the globe.
In recognition of this monumental feat, the City of Inglewood officially declared June 25–29 as “The Weeknd Week.” The artist, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, drew over 200,000 fans to SoFi Stadium for four sold-out shows just this past weekend, contributing significantly to the tour's already impressive numbers. With a total of seven sold-out dates, The Weeknd now holds a significant cultural and economic milestone for the city of Los Angeles. A commemorative plaque was presented to mark this historic achievement.
To celebrate The Weeknd’s record-breaking residency, LAVO Los Angeles introduced the "Buona Notte featuring Nespresso Samra Origins" cocktail to its menu, available exclusively throughout July.
Beyond his incredible live performances, The Weeknd has partnered with Global Citizen on his tour. For every ticket sold, $1 is donated to support children in vulnerable communities worldwide. Fans also have the chance to earn free tickets to each tour date by participating in Global Citizen's initiatives to end extreme poverty. This ongoing collaboration highlights the artist's commitment to driving positive global change alongside his musical endeavors.
