Hurricane Wisdom Enlists Lil Baby for “Drugs Callin” Remix

Hurricane Wisdom, a rising rapper from Tallahassee, seems set to follow in Lil Baby's path of creating emotionally raw, minimal, and deliberate trap-infused hip-hop. Their latest link-up, the “Drugs Callin Remix,” breathes new energy into a standout from Hurricane’s February album Perfect Storm, though calling it a full rework wouldn’t be quite accurate.

Instead, Lil Baby drops a fresh verse over the same cold, stripped-back, and sharply percussive beat that samples Future's “Perkys Calling.” The instrumental offers little in the way of melody aside from those haunting, repetitive piano chords, while the drums hit with a sharper edge. The sparse production puts the spotlight squarely on both rappers’ performances, each delivering hushed, slightly warped vocals to reflect on personal struggles and hard-earned lessons.

This isn’t the first time Hurricane Wisdom has enlisted a major name to elevate one of his singles. Earlier this year, he dropped "Giannis," featuring Chicago’s Polo G. He also followed it up with "Winter's Over,"  teaming with Murda Beatz and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for another notable release.

Meanwhile, Lil Baby continues building momentum for what appears to be his next project, The Leak$. Hints of collaborations with Playboi Carti and Young Thug have already stirred excitement, though fans are still left wondering about the Dominique album he teased earlier this year.

Regardless, the "Momma Don't Worry"  hitmaker has more in the pipeline. While his verse on “Drugs Callin Remix” might not be his most groundbreaking work, collaborations like this could help sharpen his writing ahead of a major drop. For Hurricane Wisdom, the track is yet another sign that he’s a talent worth watching.

Hurricane Wisdom & Lil Baby – "Drugs Callin Remix"

Quotable Lyrics
This s**t deep as the ocean, taking drugs, trying to cope it,
Adderall help me focus, ecstasy got me rolling,
Can't cuff when these hoes f***ing, new lights in the Rolls truck,
I'm putting the most up, I'm popping out all-star

Sexyy Red asks “Is You Coo” on her rowdy new release

image

Sexyy Red has quietly been on an impressive streak this year. She’s been a significant presence on some of the biggest singles out, including the WHIM WHAMMIE remix with PLUTO, the updated version of Tommy Richman’s ACTIN UP, and OMG with Tiësto for the F1 soundtrack, among others.

Her string of pop-leaning collaborations hasn’t slowed either. She linked up with Jessie Murph on the Blue Strips remix and joined Bruno Mars on the cheeky, viral hit Fat Juicy & Wet.

This week, though, she’s turning the focus back on her own catalog with a new self-assured anthem. Is You Coo has Red questioning why critics still try to bring her down when she’s already cemented herself as a superstar.

The track rides on production that recalls the late 2000s and early 2010s mixtape trap era, filled with sharp hi-hats and booming bass. Over that backdrop, she unleashes a steady stream of flexes: “Gucci purse with the matching Gucci shoes / He wanna hang with me, I told a n*** I’m cool / Ion see these btches through these black shades / Hair done, nails done, and I’m paid.”

The result is a song dripping with confidence, tailor-made to blast in the car or on the way to the club.

Her latest single also comes with big news for her fans. The Missouri native is set to be one of the standout rappers at Coachella 2026, joining a stacked lineup alongside Young Thug, Little Simz, Clipse, and more next spring.

Sexyy Red "Is You Coo"

Quotable Lyrics:

Bitches hating on Big Sexyy, is you cool?
I’ll pull up on a bitch and act a fool
Pretty bitch but I got some loose screws
Don’t get beat up like your mama used to
I get crazy, yeah, I go buku
Tatted all over my body i’m that dude
