Harry Styles has achieved a new personal best time at the Berlin Marathon.
The singer impressed spectators by completing his second 26.2-mile (42.16 km) race within a year.
Styles ran under the radar by registering for Sunday’s event under the name Sted Sarandos in an effort to remain unnoticed.
The Watermelon Sugar star was one of 55,000 participants who took part in the demanding race, finishing in under three hours to secure his best time yet.
He crossed the finish line at 2:59:13, averaging 6 minutes and 50 seconds per mile, according to the BMW Berlin Marathon app, which tracks official times by bib number.
The event took place on an unusually warm spring day in Berlin, where temperatures rose to 75.2 degrees Fahrenheit (24 degrees Celsius).
The overall winner, Kenyan runner Sabastian Sawe, finished with a world-leading time of 2:02:16, while fellow Kenyan Rosemary Wanjiru claimed the women’s title in 2:21:05.
Styles showed significant progress from his 3:24:07 finish at the Tokyo Marathon in March, where he averaged 7 minutes and 47 seconds per mile.
The Grammy Award winner blended into the crowd in Berlin by wearing black shorts, red sneakers, sunglasses, and a headband.
Organizers later confirmed to The Daily Mail that the former One Direction singer had taken part in the race.
